Curry Goat Recipe
Ingredients you’ll need
2 lb Goat Meat
2 tablespoons City Eats Curry Powder
2 tablespoons City Eats All Purpose Seasoning
2 tablespoon City Eats Meat Seasoning
1/2 White Onion
2 stalks green Onions
4 cloves Garlic
1 inch Ginger
3 sprigs Thyme
1 medium Carrot
1/2 medium Potato
1/4 Red, Green & Yellow Bell Peppers
Oil
2 1/2 cups water
Step 1
To season Goat, finely mince Garlic, Onions and Ginger; Dice Bell Peppers. Add 1/2 (save next half to add later) of the chopped Veggies to the Goat in a mixing bowl with Thyme, followed by City Eats Meat & All Purpose Seasonings and 1 tablespoon of the City Eats Curry Powder. Rub together to fully season. For best results, let marinade for up to 24 hours, 2-6 hours minimum.
Step 2
In a medium sized pot, toast 1 tablespoon City Eats curry on low to medium heat in Oil for 3 minutes. Add the remaining half of minced ginger to the Curry and stir in. Do not burn Curry; burning the curry to dark will make it bitter.
Step 3
Add Seasoned Goat to the Pot with the Curry and sear on each side on medium heat for a total of 10 minutes, allowing the Goat meat to sweat its own juices.
Step 4
After 10 minutes, pour 1 1/2 cups of boiling water into the bowl with chopped veggies in the bowl and pour into the pot with the Goat and cover. Cook on medium for 40 minutes.
Step 5
After 40 minutes, remove Thyme stems from the pot. Chop the Carrot into small pieces and dice the Potatoes and add to the Pot with the remaining Bell Peppers & Onions. Add 1 more cup of water. Stir in and cook for an additional 20 minutes until reduced. If needs additional seasoning, season per your taste.
ENJOY!
