Grilled Chicken Skewers with Sweet & Sour Sauce
Ingredients you’ll need
2 whole Chicken Breasts
Assorted Bell Peppers
1/4 Red Onion
1 Tablespoon City Eats Chicken Seasoning
1/2 Tablespoon City Eats All Purpose Seasoning
Wooden skewers
Your preferred choice of oil
Sweet & Sour Sauce
1/4 cup Vinegar
3 tablespoons Ketchup
3 tablespoons Honey (You could use brown sugar)
1/2 tablespoon Cornstarch
Step 1
Cut your Chicken breasts into 1 inch cubes and season with City Eats Chicken and All purpose seasonings.
Step 2
Also cut your veggies into 1 inch cubes.
Step 3
Build your skewer by adding the Veggies and Chicken in no particular order.
Step 4
Grease your Grill pan/skillet lightly with Olive oil/ your preferred choice of oil and allow to heat on medium then add your skewers and cook on each side for about 10 minutes, turning occassionally or until cooked/ when chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 74 degrees Celsius.
Step 5
Make your Sweet & Sour sauce by mixing the Vinegar, Ketchup, Honey & Cornstarch in a saucepan on low to medium heat and stir until thickened. If sauce is too thick, you can use water to thin it out based on your preference.
Serve your skewers with your favourite sides, drizzle your sauce & ENJOY!
